Altered Wooden Box for Mother's Day
Here is a fun wooden box that I altered using Stampin' Up! products. I started with a whimsical pink and green cabinet door knob and just knew that I needed to use the gorgeous Raspberry Tart designer series paper on it. I painted the box with pink acrylic paint then I sanded it just a touch. I used Crystal Effects (to make the box shiny), Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon
, & various punches. Perfect for a Mother's Day gift!
Reinker Spread Technique Mother's Day Card
"Reinker Spread" is a technique that was demonstrated at a SU regional event recently. Sharon Rogers, another SU demonstrator, has posted a "how to" video on this technique. I just demonstrated the technique at my club this week and this is how the finished card looks. All supplies are Stampin' Up! I used the gorgeous Raspberry Tart dsp along with So Saffron cardstock and grosgrain ribbon as a neutral color to make all of the pinks and reds "pop".
