My Small Class for Beginner Stampers

At a small class that I held on Thursday, each gal (most were beginner stampers) made 3 cards.  It was so much fun to see these gals have so much fun creating!  The gals are from my weekly Bible study group.  After stamping in the morning and then having lunch together, it was a delightful day with friends.

I just love this Greenhouse Gala paper.  The stamp set used, Three Little Words, is FREE right now when you spend $50 in Stampin' Up! merchandise during the Sale-A-Bration promotion.  All Supplies are Stampin' Up! Cardstock: Choc Chip, Baja Breeze, Pumpkin Pie, and Pear Pizzazz.  Stamp Set: Three Little Words.  Ink:  Chocolate Chip.  Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, and adhesive.      

My Modern Cameo-ish Card

Okay, so I don't have any Cameo stamps or images for the challenge over at Moxie Fab World called The Appearance of Cameos Challenge, so this is what I came up with today, cutting up a photo notecard of our daughters from a few years back. I love how the photo is in a soft cloudy wispy focus. The girls look so angelic and dreamy here. As you can see, I am still taken with the Taken with Teal Houndstooth paper...See the challenge here:

This is what I made for dear daughters. Used a retired Stampin' Up! heart stamp and some retired Close to Cocoa dsp.

This is what I made for my sweet husband. I thought the Houndstooth paper was just perfect for him--so classy. I used the "Three Little Words" stamp set which by the way, is FREE (regularly $13.95) right now through March 31st when you spend $50 at Stampin' Up! during the Sale*A*Bration promotion.
